AuraMine

Closure intelligence platform

Turn unpredictable closure liabilities into defensible transition plans

AuraMine brings disparate site data, whole-life cost modelling and community outcomes into one clear picture, so closure teams can plan for financial exposure, local livelihoods and the land's next chapter.

The challenge

Fragmented evidence delays action and increases closure exposure.

Closure evidence is spread across historic plans, reports, monitoring systems, GIS platforms, consultant outputs and community records. Costs are often presented as a single figure with a percentage contingency, while risks, land-use options and community priorities are assessed separately. The result is slow, opaque decisions, funding surprises and a limited view of how closure affects people.

  1. Fragmented evidence
  2. Compare options
  3. Find cost-efficient pathways
  4. Support lasting community value

See why closure costs grow
One platform, two kinds of site

Built for active closure and legacy sites

Active mine closure

Plan closure while the mine is still operating. Test intervention pathways, understand how timing affects cost, and reduce the closure liability you carry forward.

Learn more about active mine closure

Legacy sites

For sites with no operator and no production income. Understand what is on the site, what it will cost to make safe and manage long term, and what it could become.

Learn more about legacy sites

The same evidence, cost and community-outcomes approach underpins both.

How it helps a closure team

See what needs attention

Bring fragmented evidence into one confidence-rated view and focus on the issues that drive most of the cost and risk.

Understand the cost of waiting

See where delayed action may increase future cost or close off future options.

Compare whole-life pathways

Weigh capital, long-term operating burden, residual risk and community outcomes, not just the lowest upfront cost.

Communities & transition

Closure is a financial obligation. It is also a community's future.

Local livelihoods, access to land and water, and future opportunities belong in the same conversation as closure cost. We're developing a community-facing platform, managed and moderated by the site operator, where people can follow verified site progress, raise concerns through a structured process and see how their input is considered.

See progress

Site updates, monitoring trends and remediation timelines in an accessible community view.

Be heard

Raise concerns through a managed, reviewable process, with a named reviewer and a published response. This is a structured channel, not an open public board.

Shape the next chapter

Reviewed feedback informs site analysis and comparison of land-use and socioeconomic outcomes.

We are looking for design partners and pilot sites

We're taking on a small number of design partners to test closure intelligence on a real site decision, at an operating mine or a legacy site.
